Quinta da Vista is a 300 year old typical Algarvian farmhouse, , 200 metres from the Silves-Fonte LOUZEIROUS road. It has superb views, to the south the sea at PERA, the north the Monchique mountains and all around are orchards and peaceful countryside.

The Quinta (farm) covers about 5 acres and until 10 years ago produced oranges commercially. Much of the orchards remain, still abundant with fruit. There are also fig, walnut, almond, grapes and lemons to name a few!

The farmhouse has been sympathetically restored, retaining many traditional materials and features. The result is comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests, 3 bedrooms with en-suite, large kitchen/dining area, sitting room, bar, shower block and toilets. In the garden we have a 10M x 5M swimming pool  with a large sun terrace and shaded verandah next to the bar. We also have a new Sauna and a Boule court.

We can offer self-catering and B&B holidays and are open all year. Your rooms are cleaned and checked daily.

We can include the hire of a car with your holiday and it is very easy to travel around. It is just a short drive to the historic town of Silves, the beaches, golf courses and other visitor attractions. The roads are good, relatively traffic free. The scenery of the mountains and coastline is often stunning.

Quinta da Vista is an ideal base for a touring holiday, sightseeing or just relaxing. See something of the real Algarve, the unspoilt countryside, villages where time seems to have stood still. Invariably the welcome will be friendly and generous and food and drink great value.
